Proposing Your JFA

Step 1:
In a list explain the following:
1. What is the topic you are proposing to write about for your JFA?
2. What approach do you plan to use? (what angle - How to, informative, etc)
3. What do you already know about your topic?

When you have finished answering those questions hit submit (make sure you put your name and cohort in the Name Line. If you don't I won't be able to give you credit.)

Step 2:
Then - read through your class mates posts. Respond to at least 1 other student's post in one of the following ways -
1. Tell the person you are also writing about that topic
2. If you think a different approach might be better explain what approach and why.
3. Share information you already know about the persons topic that they didn't already list.

After responding to a student remember to hit submit and make sure your name is included!

Looking at Student Exemplars

Looking at the student examples of JFAs found on my website, answer the following questions in your post using complete sentences:

1. What do you notice about these examples?
2. What common elements do you see?
   
3. What do you think makes these strong examples?

Explain in a complete paragraph (5 sentences) the evidence you would use to support the strength of recommendation you have for creating special economic zones.

30.4 Do you recommend building hydroelectric dams?

Explain in a complete paragraph (5 sentences) the evidence you would use to support the strength of recommendation you have for building large hydroelectric dams.

30.3 Do you reccomend the 1 child policy?

Explain in a complete paragraph (5 sentences) what evidence you are using to support your strength of recommending the 1 child policy to fast growing countries.

How was break?

Send me a quick 3-5 sentence message telling me how your vacation was. Include information about anything interesting you did over break, any great presents you may have recieved for any holiday you celebrated, and/or any traditions you celebrated.
